From beginning to end we take care to preserve the integrity of your furniture. First, in stripping, we use a flow over system (we do not dip). Through this process we are able to protect the quality of the wood. ~ Next, we take care to repair & restore the article using only the best of wood & glues, ensuring that we stay as close to original as possible. ~ The process of sanding now begins, as we bring out the best of the wood. With a smooth surface we can apply the different oils and stains which allow the grain of the wood to “come alive”. ~ Following this a sealer is used to protect and further enhance the beauty of the wood. ~ Finally, we apply the finish coats which are hand rubbed to their final luster and beauty.
